New York State of Mind is hosting a prequel to the Superhero Festival that will take place in late June.

The event will feature:

- Superhero Scavenger Hunt
- Superhero Wheel of Fortune
- Surprise superhero appearance!
- Superhero Crafts
- Face painting
- Martinez Playground Stewardship Workshop

The Superhero Showdown takes place at the Martinez Playground and Hecksher Community Garden on Scholes Street between Manhattan Avenue and Graham Avenue.

This event is free admission and all are welcome.
